We have moved out of the cramped apartment that we've been at for the last year. Our new place is much larger, and better equipped for where me and Whitney are in our lives right now. Apart from a relatively minor electrical issue, we are very happy.

I am going through the process of refinishing some of our wood furniture before we get settled, so that kept me busy this weekend and a good portion of this coming week, but hopefully when the rest of our furniture gets here this weekend we can start settling in for real.

Whitney is really interested in getting a dog and we are going to the shelter on Saturday with my mom and brother so that we can look. Not sure if we will pick one out and start the adoption process then, or wait another week or so, just depends on how settled in we are.
