This video is encoded in .h264, and as such only works in Chrome or Safari. IE does not yet have html 5. Firefox does not support .h264 for the video tag. The main benefit of html 5 video is that flash is not required, and it is therefore much easier on your battery, and playback is much smoother on lower powered devices such as netbooks.

This is a video that I edited together a couple of years ago showcasing some of the features of my ubuntu desktop. It was edited together on my macbook using iMovie. I have since stopped using a Mac.
